Spreading Hope, One School at a Time: Chelsea Logistics Champions Inclusive Education in Romblon
Romblon, Philippines (27 June 2025)– In a heartfelt demonstration of its commitment to inclusive growth and community empowerment, Chelsea Logistics, through its Alagang Chelsea program and in collaboration with its subsidiaries, successfully conducted a school donation drive at Sinapawan Cultural Minority School in Sugod, Cajidiocan, Romblon.
Employees from the Chelsea Group—including Chelsea Shipping, and Starlite Ferries—pooled their resources and provided essential school supplies packages to all students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. The package included a school bag, shoes, notebooks, notepads, pencils, ballpens, uniforms, glue, crayons, and school arm chairs all intended to support and enhance the learning journey of children in this remote community with a school population of 54 students and 4 teachers.
Reaching the school required the Chelsea Group volunteers to endure a 3-hour trek along rugged and mountain-slopped terrain, an effort they undertook wholeheartedly. Despite the challenges, the warm smiles with tears of joy of the children made every step worth it, leaving a lasting impact on both the students and the volunteers.
