Chelsea Logistics Concludes Landmark 2026 Privacy Awareness Celebration, Reinforcing "Rights and Principles" as the Ultimate Data Compass
Manila, Philippines (June 2026) – Following a highly engaging multi-week campaign, Chelsea successfully wrapped up its Privacy Awareness Celebration 2026. Running from May 25 to June 5, 2026, the celebration was held under the banner theme: “Rights and Principles: The Compass of Data Privacy.”
The extensive campaign aimed to embed data protection deeper into the organization’s culture, driving home the corporate mantra: “Privacy is a right and protecting it starts with YOU. Data Privacy is everyone’s responsibility.”
A Comprehensive Campaign for Digital Safety
The celebration kicked off on May 25 with physical banner displays across entrances and lobbies, immediately followed by a company-wide email signature transition. Over the course of two weeks, the initiative prioritized employee education by systematically rolling out video spotlights and advisories on the 8 Data Subject Rights: (1) Right to be Informed, (2) Right to Access, (3) Right to Object, (4) Right to Rectification, (5) Right to Erasure, (6) Right to Portability, (7) Right to File a Complaint, and (8) Right to Damages.
In addition to attending the National Privacy Commission’s PAW 2026 Online Conference, Chelsea employees were provided practical, actionable advice, including a dedicated session on “Tips to Clean Your Digital Footprint” and targeted advisories on core Data Privacy Principles.
Record-Breaking Engagement, Learning and Assessment
The absolute highlights of the celebration were the Data Privacy Orientation and Trivia Quiz held simultaneously on June 4, which emerged as the company’s most highly participated orientation and trivia quiz to date with close to 200 attendees and 131 participants respectively. The orientation focused on Republic Act 10173: The Data Privacy Act of 2012, guiding employees on how the law affects daily operations, how to maintain strict compliance, data life cycles, and how to manage and report potential data breaches.
