Chelsea Logistics Becomes First Shipping Line to Receive MARINA SOTS Digital Certification, Paving the Way for Seamless Sea Travel
MANILA, Philippines (September 2026) – Chelsea Logistics & Infrastructure Holdings, Corp. (CLC), alongside its passage shipping subsidiaries—Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, Inc., Starlite Ferries, Inc., and The SuperCat Fast Ferry Corporation—has made history as the first shipping company to officially receive a Shipping Online Ticketing System (SOTS) Compliance Digital Certificate (Certificate No. SOTS-2026-01) from the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA).
This pioneering milestone confirms the Group’s full alignment with MARINA Memorandum Circular No. DS-2026-01, enabling passengers across all Trans-Asia, Starlite Ferries, and SuperCat routes to enjoy streamlined, reliable, and accessible digital booking services.
By leading the industry in full compliance, Chelsea Logistics has qualified for a 100% discount on its Annual Tonnage Fee (ATF) from 2027 through 2029 under MARINA’s incentive program.
