Celebrating Mother’s Day, One “ChelseaMOMent” at a Time
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Keeping with its tradition of honoring the people who move the nation forward, Chelsea Logistics and Infrastructure Holdings Corp. (Chelsea) celebrated Mother’s Day this May with a series of touching initiatives dedicated to honoring the hard work, love, and dedication of mothers both within and outside the organization.
The multi-day celebration featured special engagements on May 10 and May 19, bringing together employees, digital communities, and maritime partners to show appreciation for the incredible women in their lives.
Launching the #ChelseaMOMents Campaign
The festivities kicked off digitally on Mother’s Day, May 10, with the launch of the nationwide #ChelseaMOMents Raffle Campaign. Chelsea Logistics invited its online community and patrons across its subsidiaries—including Trans-Asia Shipping Lines, Starlite Ferries, SuperCat, and WorkLink—to share their favorite photos with their mothers, alongside their moms’ most famous, loving, and humorous catchphrases.
The campaign resonated deeply with the public, sparking hundreds of lighthearted entries that captured the unique spirit of Filipino motherhood and offering participants a chance to win exclusive gifts and special rewards for their moms.
Commemorating Women in Maritime
The celebrations culminated on May 19 in an event that seamlessly tied Mother’s Day with the International Day for Women in Maritime. Chelsea Logistics hosted an intimate gathering to honor its internal team—the dedicated mothers balancing demanding careers in shipping transport and logistics with the vital role of raising families.
The event featured dynamic engagements, games, and an open floor where team members shared their personal “Mom Day-to-Day” stories. Executives expressed profound gratitude for the unique resilience, leadership, and empathy that mothers bring to the maritime workforce. The afternoon concluded with the announcement of the #ChelseaMOMents raffle winners, celebrating the community’s favorite maternal stories.
