Chelsea Logistics Charts a New Course with DAAIC: A Bold Leap into Data Unification and Agentic AI
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Chelsea Logistics officially signaled a new era in the Philippine maritime and logistics industry with the successful launch of its DAAIC (Data Unification and AI Readiness) Initiative on April 14, 2026. This pivotal workshop marks the Chelsea Group’s transition toward a future-ready, “AI-First” culture, designed to centralize intelligence and prepare for the next wave of Agentic AI.

The Google Wizards & Kollab Partnership
In collaboration with Kollab, the Chelsea IT Department and a select group of “Google Wizards” underwent intensive training on leveraging Google Gemini, Google Workspace, and Google Drive. The goal is to modernize the Chelsea Group’s mindset—shifting from traditional, time-consuming workflows to an efficient, AI-augmented environment.
To ensure this knowledge is not siloed, the Google Wizards will provide 1:1 coaching per Department, institutionalizing AI practices across the entire Chelsea Group.
A Three-Phase Roadmap to Data Unification
The workshop unveiled a strategic roadmap to break down information silos and prepare the Group’s digital “library” for Artificial Intelligence:
- The Great Migration: Centralizing local files into secure, corporate Shared Drives.
- Machine-First Design: Formatting Docs and Sheets so AI can “read” and analyze data with precision.
- Eliminating Silos: Shifting from “My Drive” habits to a structured, Company-owned environment to ensure data residency and business continuity.
“By unifying our data, we are clearing the fog so to speak so we can see the horizon more clearly,” the Committee shared. “This is the ‘nutritional fuel’ our team needs to lead the modernization of the industry.”
